Does the weight of my sweatshirt affect its warmth?
The weight on the product sheet of my sweatshirt gives an indication of the thickness of the fabric. This mainly impacts its drape, its feel: the heavier the sweatshirt, the straighter it falls, the more luxurious it is. On the other hand, a high weight does not necessarily guarantee a warmer sweatshirt. Brushed knits (fleece effect on the inside) are lighter in grams per square meter, but they are warmer because they trap air, which provides more heat.
