Clairefontaine’s Zap Book is more than just a sketchbook: it can be used for drawing but also for taking notes.
It is ecological with its 100% recycled paper, simple with its colourful cover, and practical because it fits easily in your pocket or bag.
The paper is made from wood fibres found in other papers, it reduces energy consumption, water and pollutants. The recovery of old paper used also reduces industrial waste.
The paper is acid-free (pH neutral) which allows for a longer shelf-life.
The A5 Zap books are glued on the side and contain 160 sheets of 80gsm paper.
The set comes with 4 Zap Books in covered colours of blue, pink, orange and purple.
Clairefontaine actively participates in the development of French forests, by managing several hundred hectares of fir and spruce trees in the Vosges mountains. With regards to the paper mill itself in the Etival Clairefontaine region, it is still as dynamic 150 years after its conception. Self-sufficient for 80% of its own biological installations for water treatment and has been rewarded a “Water trophy” by the State.
