Calmettes 20 Tablets is used to help you relax if you are nervous or stressed. It is indicated for relief of nervous tension and anxiety.
Dosage:
- Adults : Two or three tablets.
- Children: One tablet.
- To overcome nervous tension and over-excitement at bedtime, children may take two tablets and adults five tablets half an hour before going to bed. The tablets must be swallowed whole with water or milk.
- Adults and children: The dosage may be repeated up to three times daily if necessary.
Warnings:
- Calmettes may enhance the effects of alcohol, sedatives (used to make you relax), tranquillisers (used to reduce anxiety or nervous tension) or other medicines used to help you sleep.
- Ask your doctor before you take Calmettes with alcohol or these medicines.
- Take special care with Calmettes if you have a history of liver dysfunction or severe liver disease.
- Calmettes is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other health care provider for advice before taking Calmettes. Calmettes is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Calmettes may cause side-effects which may effect your ability to drive or use medicines. Do not drive or operate machines until you know how Calmettes affects you.
- If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking Calmettes.
- Store at or below 25 C, in a dry place.
