Bicycle Brake Lever Installation Steps

Step 1

Remove the handlebar grips and clean the surface of the handlebar.

Step 2

Fit the brake lever onto the handlebar, adjust it to a proper position, then tighten the locking screw. Align the No.1 and No.2 adjusting screws into the same groove.

Step 3

Flip open the brake lever, insert the rivet head of the brake cable into the cable hole, and clamp it tightly.

Step 4

Close the brake lever, tighten the fine-tuning screw, reinstall the handlebar grips, and the installation is completed.
