Celebrating 50 years of innovative BOSS technology, the 50th Anniversary Limited-Edition SD-1 Super OverDrive Pedal features the same beloved layout and circuitry as the original, but with a special finish that collectors will love. Produced in a strictly limited batch of 7000 units worldwide, this iteration of the classic stomp sports a metallic finish, silver thumbscrews, and gold-capped knobs, for a stylish and unique look.
Just as with the original SD-1, this limited-edition version features three simple controls: Level-for adjusting the output volume, Tone-for dialing in the drive character, and Drive-for controlling the total gain added to your signal. The SD-1 50th Anniversary can run from a 9V power adapter (sold separately) or a 9V battery (included) of alkaline or carbon-zinc chemistries.
