Suitable for:
Chevrolet Aveo
A blower motor resistor is an electrical component in a vehicle's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system that regulates the speed of the blower motor. It controls the airflow from the vents by restricting the amount of electrical current flowing to the blower motor. By changing the resistance, it allows the driver to adjust the fan speed from low to high.
Function:
The blower motor resistor is essentially a variable resistor that regulates the electrical current to the blower motor. This, in turn, controls the speed of the blower fan, which pushes air through the vents in the car's cabin.
