Artists like Dave Matthews, Herbie Hancock and Ladysmith Black Mambazo lend a hand on Josh Groban's upcoming album, "Awake," due Nov. 7 via Reprise. The operatic pop star also tapped superstar producers like Marius DeVries, Guy Sigsworth, Glen Ballard and David Foster to man the decks on the effort, the follow-up to 2003's "Closer." Matthews wrote an a cappella track, "Lullaby," while Ladysmith Black Mambazo can be heard on "Weeping." Five For Fighting's John Ondrasik Imogen Heap both penned tracks, the latter also contributing vocals.
