Why Cleaning Matters:
Coffee oils and residue naturally coat the internal brewing components and portafilters over time. This build-up can:

Directions for Use:
Espresso Machines (Backflushing)
- Insert a blind filter (cleaning disc) into the portafilter and add 1 Aqua Solve tablet.
- Insert the portafilter securely into the group head.
- Activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds, then stop for 10 seconds. Repeat this step 5 times.
- Remove the portafilter, rinse it thoroughly, and re-insert into the group head.
- Repeat the brew cycle without a tablet (10 seconds on, 10 seconds off) 5 times to flush the system.
- Make and discard a shot of espresso before drinking to ensure no residue remains.
Fully Automatic / Bean-to-Cup Machines:
- Drop 1 tablet into the pre-ground coffee chute or designated cleaning tablet slot.
- Follow your specific machine manufacturer's instructions for running the automated cleaning cycle.
Soaking (Portafilters, Baskets & Drip Trays):
- Dissolve 1 to 2 tablets in 500ml of hot water in a suitable container.
- Submerge the metal parts of the portafilter and filter baskets (do not submerge plastic handles).
- Allow to soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove and rinse thoroughly under clean, running water.
Usage Frequency:
Use every 2 to 4 weeks, or after every 200 cups of coffee, depending on appliance usage.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the container tightly closed to prevent moisture exposure.
