This 25cm lightweight twisted V-shaped aluminium tent peg is a high-performance anchoring accessory built for camping tarps, tents, beach shelters and outdoor shade setups across South Africa's diverse terrain, from soft sand and muddy riverbanks to firm grassy campsites. Crafted from premium aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with vibrant anti-corrosion red anodised coating, this spiral ground nail cuts total weight drastically compared to heavy steel pegs while retaining outstanding bending resistance, so you can lighten your hiking backpack load without sacrificing stability. Its unique twisted three-sided spiral blade design creates powerful gripping friction once driven into the ground; unlike straight flat pegs that slide out easily in loose sand or damp mud, the helical ridges lock deep into soil to withstand strong coastal wind gusts and heavy guy line tension. A durable reflective drawstring is pre-attached to the top loop for effortless retrieval after use, and the bright orange cord is easy to spot amid grass or sand to avoid losing your pegs when packing camp. The sharp tapered tip slides smoothly into all ground types with minimal hammer force, and the wide top notch securely holds tent wind ropes without slipping off. Rust-proof construction stands up to sea salt spray, rain and prolonged UV exposure for years of repeated outdoor use, perfect for overnight hiking trips, family braai canopies, seaside camping and remote wilderness shelters. Ultra-compact and stackable for neat storage in camping pouches, these spiral aluminium pegs deliver reliable windproof anchoring performance to keep your tent or tarp taut and stable in all outdoor weather conditions.
