Sometimes in our lifetime, a stroke of serendipity intervenes and the confluence of two streams of life creates something truly special. Such were the circumstances that led to the creation of The Alter Irving Band. On lead vocals are the fantastic voices of Cindy Alter from Clout-fame and former Ballyhoo front man, Stewart Irving. Together with this duo is the fantastic band of merry men who have each done their tour of duty with well-known SA – Garth Potterton and Leon Shaw from Mean Mr Mustard and Arno West from The Diamond Dogs. Fresh out of the studio, the group are about to embark on an extensive tour to launch the release of their debut album, Chained To The Wind – a modern country meets folk rock album. The album’s first single sees the group doing a remake of the me classic, Jolene. Other plug tracks to pay attention to is the heartfelt lyrics of Postcards and Little Dreams.
