Alcolin bitumen primer is a fast-drying bitumen solution designed to enhance the adhesion of waterproofing bituminous compounds. It effectively seals and primes concrete, masonry, timber, and other porous and non-porous surfaces, ensuring optimal surface preparation for bitumen coatings and torch-on waterproofing membranes.
This versatile primer can be used on cementitious screeds, existing bituminous membranes, metal, clay or cement bricks, and more. For best results, avoid use in temperatures below 5 c, and follow manufacturer recommendations when overcoating with paint. Not recommended for potable water tanks.
