Our Acoustic Panels are an excellent solution for reducing unwanted reverberation and flutter echo so that the listener has more clarity and noise reduction. They are ideal for home theatres, offices, restaurants, classrooms and recording studios. Sound absorption is a process by which the sound waves are absorbed by the sound panels to improve overall sound quality. Our 67mm thick panel is constructed with a reinforced rigid frame and acoustically transparent fabric, which allows the sound waves to be fully absorbed by the core. The panels have a sawtooth hook on the back which makes for an effortless installation.
The core of our acoustic panels consists of rigid glass wool which has excellent absorption properties, with a noise reduction coefficient [NRC] of 0.95 (versus foam products where NRC = 0.4). For optimal results it is recommended that 40% wall coverage is achieved with our acoustic panels. Central wall locations and reflection points should be the primary focus of acoustically treating a room.
