Perfect for South African micro-lure anglers, beginner carp/tilapia fishermen, weekend dam & shore fishing enthusiasts, and light-saltwater anglers targeting local small-medium fish species - this AX800 zero-gap spinning reel is tailored for South Africa's popular freshwater dams, rivers and coastal shore fishing hotspots.
Boasting a practical 5.2:1 gear ratio for quick line recovery when fishing carp and tilapia, it uses corrosion-resistant full-metal CNC spool and stainless-steel main shaft to withstand South Africa's humid coastal and freshwater environments. The swappable left-right handle fits all angler habits, and the sensitive drag alarm system effectively reminds users of fish strikes. Its compact lightweight build is easy to carry for SA road trips and camping fishing getaways, with smooth casting performance ideal for micro-lure and short-range shore fishing.
