Important information before purchase:
- this is not a fully wireless camera system.
- the rear camera and front monitor communicate with each other wirelessly for video transmission, which means there is no long video cable running from the back of the vehicle to the front monitor.
- however, both the rear camera and the monitor still require power wiring to operate.
- the rear camera must connect to a 12v power source, commonly the reverse light wiring
- the front monitor must also connect to vehicle power or a 12v accessory socket
- this setup greatly simplifies installation compared to traditional wired reverse camera systems while still providing stable and reliable video transmission.
