The Pacific LEDars 2kW PTC Ceramic Geyser Element is a next-generation water heating solution designed to improve efficiency, extend lifespan, and reduce maintenance costs in residential and commercial geyser systems.
Unlike traditional resistive elements, the LEDars element uses PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) ceramic heating technology, allowing it to operate at lower temperatures while maintaining consistent heating performance. This significantly reduces limescale build-up, making it ideal for hard water areas.
The advanced dry element design ensures protection against burnouts in the event of water loss, eliminating one of the most common failure points in standard geyser elements.
With its innovative "Z" flange positioning, the element sits lower in the geyser, improving thermal convection and delivering more efficient heating - resulting in hotter water and reduced electricity consumption.
This 2kW model is engineered to deliver similar performance to a conventional 3kW element, helping households reduce energy usage by approximately 1kWh per hour of operation, making it an excellent choice for energy-conscious users and solar-integrated systems.
