The 1598FSGY is a desktop-style instrument enclosure crafted from durable ABS plastic, featuring brushed aluminum front and rear panels. Measuring 250 mm x 160 mm x 40 mm, this enclosure is ideally suited for housing printed circuit boards and other sensitive electronic components.
It includes both vertical and horizontal PCB mounting provisions: two sets of 1.5 mm vertical guides molded into the front and rear of the case halves, and horizontal PC card mounts on Eurocard centers. The enclosure also features molded standoffs compatible with #6 x 1/4" screws (sold separately) for secure PCB fastening.
This model meets IP54 requirements, protecting internal components against dust and light splashing. The enclosure halves are secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws, threading into integral brass bushings-ensuring reliability even with frequent assembly/disassembly.
