The 1598DSGY Polystyrene Instrument Enclosure is a durable desktop case designed to protect printed circuit boards while providing flexibility for assembly and repeated use. Molded from flame-retardant ABS plastic (UL94 V-0) with a matte light grey finish, it offers reliable protection and meets IP54 standards for dust and splash resistance.
This versatile enclosure features two sets of vertical 1.5 mm PCB guides on the front and rear halves, as well as integral horizontal Eurocard mounts for flexible PCB placement. Front and rear panels are 1.6 mm brushed aluminum, combining durability with a professional appearance. The enclosure halves are secured with M3 x 0.5" x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into tapped brass bushings, making it ideal for projects requiring repeated assembly and disassembly.
