The 1598DBK is a high-quality ABS plastic desktop enclosure designed for housing electronic instruments and PCBs. With internal features optimized for board mounting, it includes both vertical 1.5 mm PC board guides and horizontal card mounts on Eurocard centers. PC card standoffs are molded into both halves of the case, supporting secure PCB attachment using #6 x 1/4" screws (not included).
Constructed from UL94 V-0 flame retardant ABS plastic, the enclosure offers a matte textured black finish for professional appearance and durability. The lap joint construction provides reliable IP54 protection, guarding against dust and splashing water.
The top and bottom halves are secured by M3 machine screws into integral brass bushings, ensuring strength and repeated usability-ideal for applications requiring frequent access or servicing.
Includes brushed aluminum front and rear panels with protective film.
