The 1594D Heavy Duty ABS Plastic Enclosure is built to provide rugged, dependable protection for electronic instruments and printed circuit boards in demanding environments. Manufactured from flame-retardant ABS plastic with a UL94 V-0 rating, this enclosure delivers both safety and durability for professional and industrial applications.
Featuring a thick wall design with an average wall thickness of 3.3 mm (.13"), the 1594D ensures enhanced structural strength and long-term reliability. The interior of each enclosure part is specially masked and coated with a conductive RFI/EMI copper layer, providing greater than 75 dB attenuation from 1 MHz to 1 GHz. This makes it ideal for housing sensitive electronics that require protection from electromagnetic interference.
The enclosure supports both vertical and horizontal PCB mounting (with optional card guides), offering flexibility across a wide range of projects. A countersunk lid secured by four M3 x 0.5 Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings allows for secure closure while supporting repeated assembly and disassembly without wear.
With an IP54 rating, the 1594D protects against dust ingress and splashing water, making it suitable for workshop, industrial, and field applications.
