The 1590S Multipurpose Enclosure is a rugged and compact diecast aluminium housing designed to protect sensitive electronics in a variety of industrial, commercial, and DIY applications. With dimensions of 110 × 82 × 44 mm, this enclosure offers a solid balance of size and internal space for circuit boards, sensors, or custom electronics.
Manufactured from high-strength diecast aluminum alloy, the 1590S enclosure is both durable and easy to machine, making it ideal for drilling, cutting, or modifying. The lap joint construction enhances protection against dust and splashing water, while also improving EMI/RFI shielding-crucial for maintaining signal integrity in electronics projects.
The unpainted version features a vibra-finished surface that's smooth, clean, and free of sharp edges, while the enclosure's low side wall draft angle ( 2 ) simplifies PCB mounting. It comes with factory-tapped screw holes and all required mounting screws.
Designed to meet IP54 protection standards, this enclosure is also available in watertight versions (IP65 rated) that include a gasket for sealing (gasket supplied loose).
