The 1590LBFL Aluminium Multipurpose Enclosure is a compact, flanged housing ideal for electronic projects and PCB mounting. Constructed from rugged diecast aluminium alloy, it offers excellent mechanical strength while remaining easy to machine for custom modifications.
Its lap joint construction ensures protection against dust and splashing water while also enhancing EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure features smooth surfaces with no sharp edges and includes factory-tapped screw holes for secure lid attachment.
Designed to meet IP54 protection standards, it can also be upgraded to IP65 watertight rating when fitted with an optional gasket (sold separately). The flanged lid allows for easy mounting to panels or surfaces, and low side wall draft angles facilitate PCB installation.
