The 1554VGY is a rugged ABS plastic enclosure designed to provide superior protection for electronics in industrial and harsh environments. With external dimensions of 240 × 160 × 90 mm, this enclosure is ideal for housing printed circuit boards (PCBs), DIN rail-mounted devices, or other electronic assemblies that require a watertight, dustproof, and oil-resistant casing.
Manufactured from light grey (RAL 7035) ABS plastic, this enclosure offers excellent resistance to impact, chemicals, and environmental degradation. It meets IP66 standards, ensuring complete protection against ingress of dust and powerful water jets.
The enclosure features a gasketed lid with a two-piece tongue-and-groove construction. The included UL-listed silicone gasket is rated for high temperatures and provides a lasting seal for indoor or outdoor use. The M4 stainless steel machine screws, along with corrosion-resistant bushings, ensure reliable and repeatable access without compromising the seal. Self-captivating lid screws and threaded lid holes add convenience and efficiency to assembly.
