The 1554FGY is a high-performance ABS plastic enclosure, measuring 120 x 90 x 60 mm, designed for secure housing of printed circuit boards, control panels, and DIN rail-mounted components. It offers IP66-rated protection, making it suitable for use in environments exposed to dust, oil, and strong jets of water.
Manufactured from light grey (RAL 7035) UL94 HB flame-rated ABS plastic, the enclosure features a durable, gasketed lid with a tongue-and-groove design to ensure a watertight seal. The included high-temperature UL-listed silicone gasket is supplied loose for flexibility during assembly.
The lid is secured using M4 stainless steel machine screws threaded into brass inserts, providing corrosion resistance and long-term durability, even under frequent assembly/disassembly. The lid screws are self-captivating, with lid holes being threaded during first installation.
