The 1554EGY ABS enclosure is a compact, water-tight housing designed for secure protection of electronic components in demanding environments. Made from high-quality ABS plastic with a UL94-HB flammability rating, it is suitable for indoor use and provides reliable safeguarding against dust, oil, and water ingress.
A gasketed lid with a precision "tongue & groove" construction ensures a secure seal, while the replaceable high-temperature UL-listed silicone gasket enhances durability and long-term performance. The light grey body (RAL 7035) and grey lid give it a professional appearance, making it ideal for industrial and electronic applications.
The lid is fastened using M4 stainless steel machine screws, threaded into integral stainless-steel bushings to allow repetitive assembly and disassembly without wear. Self-captivating lid screws simplify installation, as the lid holes are threaded during the first assembly.
With an IP66 rating, the enclosure provides excellent protection against dust and strong water jets, ensuring safe operation of mounted circuit boards or DIN rail components.
