The 1554CGY is a durable ABS plastic enclosure designed for indoor electronic and control applications. With external dimensions of 120 x 65 x 40 mm, it offers a compact yet robust housing ideal for DIN rail-mounted components or printed circuit boards.
Molded in general-purpose ABS plastic (UL94 HB), it is not recommended for outdoor use. The light grey (RAL 7035) body features a two-piece "tongue and groove" gasketed lid construction, delivering superior protection against water, dust, and oil ingress. The factory-poured high-temperature silicone gasket (now replaced with a pre-formed, removable gasket) ensures IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 12, and 13 compliance.
All included stainless steel hardware, including self-captivating M4 machine screws threaded into stainless steel bushings, ensures corrosion resistance and durability for repetitive opening and closing.
