The 1550G is a rugged diecast aluminium enclosure, unpainted and vibra-finished, ideal for housing electronic instruments in demanding environments. Designed to protect against dust and splashing water, this enclosure features a lap joint construction that also enhances EMI/RFI shielding.
With no internal ribs, it allows for uncomplicated connector installation, and the low side wall draft angle simplifies PCB mounting. The enclosure is designed to meet IP54 standards out of the box and can be upgraded to IP66 or even IP67 protection with an optional gasket.
