The 1550C Diecast Aluminium Enclosure is a rugged and versatile housing designed to protect electronic instruments and P.C. boards. Manufactured from durable diecast aluminium alloy, this enclosure provides excellent mechanical strength while remaining easy to machine.
The unpainted version is vibra-finished for a smooth, professional surface with no sharp edges, ensuring safe handling and an attractive appearance. The lap joint construction enhances protection against dust and splashing water, while also offering improved EMI/RFI shielding (shielding not provided when water-tight gaskets are installed).
Designed to meet IP54 without a gasket and up to IP66/IP67 with optional gaskets, this enclosure is ideal for a wide range of industrial and electronic applications. The low side wall draft angle (2 less) allows for easy PCB mounting, and the lack of internal ribs simplifies installation of connectors. The cover is secured with stainless steel Philips head machine screws, ensuring durability and secure closure.
