- Enamel Repair: Nano-hydroxyapatite binds directly to the enamel to fill micro-scratches and subsurface lesions and builds a new protective enamel layer. It remineralises enamel by re-incorporating calcium and phosphate minerals.
- Whitens: The new protective layer blocks incoming light and reflects white light, enhancing the natural lustre of the enamel.
- Reduces Dentine Hypersensitivity: Due to its small size, nano-hydroxyapatite is capable of occluding open dentine tubules. This prevents fluid flow in the dentine tubules and the subsequent stimulation of the tooth nerves. In doing so, it prevents sensitivity to hot and cold stimuli.
