- Who ORRO is for: Anyone who would rather buy one thing that works properly than replace a cheap one twice. ORRO is for everyday use - chosen carefully, and made to last past the novelty.
- What is different: We name the trade-offs as plainly as the features. If a model is not right for you, we would rather you knew before you bought it than after.
- How that is possible: ORRO sources directly and sells directly. Fewer steps between the factory and your door means we can spend where it shows and keep the price fair.
- What you get: Good materials, sensible design, and something that still feels right a year in. The things you use every day should feel that little bit better.
WHAT THE HOME PLUS DOES WELL
- Bass you feel, not just hear: A 6.5 inch 150W subwoofer handles the low end the soundbar cannot reach on its own. Explosions land, basslines sit underneath the music, and the soundbar is freed up to do the rest.
- 300W across the pair: 150W from the soundbar and 150W from the subwoofer. Two 60mm bass drivers, two 60mm full range drivers and two bass reflex tubes in the bar itself.
- The subwoofer is wired: It connects to the soundbar by cable, so plan where it sits before you set up. If you want to place the subwoofer freely around the room, the Pro Plus uses a wireless connection instead.
- Connects to what you already own: HDMI ARC, optical, coaxial, Bluetooth 5.0, USB and AUX. TVs, phones, laptops and consoles.
- Sound you can shape: EQ adjustment and smart chip bass management, so you set it for your room and leave it.
- Controls within reach: Remote or onboard buttons, whichever is closer. An LED indicator shows mode and status.
- Looks like it belongs: Aluminium grille and wood grain finish on both the soundbar and subwoofer, in black or brown. The bar is 70.5cm wide and screw-mounts to the wall.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
This is a 2.1 channel setup - stereo plus a subwoofer. There is no Dolby Atmos and no multi-room audio. We would rather put the budget into drivers you will actually hear than into features most people never switch on. If you want height channels or whole-house audio, this is not the setup for you, and we would rather say so now.
CHOOSING BETWEEN THE ORRO SOUNDBARS

- Pro: The ultimate sound quality in the range - deeper bass, crystal clear treble, and the only models with dedicated tweeters.
- Plus models: A soundbar and a subwoofer together. The Eco Plus performs well, the Home Plus is where the bass starts sounding properly full, and the Pro Plus adds dedicated tweeters with a larger 8 inch 200W subwoofer that connects wirelessly.
SETTING IT UP
HDMI ARC gives you the best sound and lets most TVs control the volume with their own remote, so use it if your TV has the port. Optical is the next best. Bluetooth is there for phones and tablets rather than as your main TV connection. The subwoofer connects to the soundbar by cable. The setup guide walks through each one.
