Nigiro Yunnan Jin Hao Golden Tips Black Tea is a luxurious black tea made from the finest golden leaf buds, carefully plucked and processed in Yunnan Province, China. These young buds are naturally covered in fine golden down, which gives the tea its name "Jin Hao Li Cha", meaning "golden fur gift tea". Each bud is handled with precision and dried through a slow oxidation process that brings out a beautifully balanced profile of depth, warmth, and complexity.
Visually, the tea is stunning. Long, curled golden tips shimmer in the light, and once brewed, the liquor glows with a deep amber hue. The aroma is rich and layered, evoking the sweetness of toffee alongside the earthy, green freshness of bamboo and hints of tropical sugarcane. This complexity carries through in the taste. The infusion is smooth and rounded, offering a sweet beginning, a mellow heart, and a clean, reassuring finish. Each sip delivers a sense of familiarity with a gentle touch of exotic flair.
What makes this tea truly special is how it balances elegance and comfort. It is flavourful without overwhelming the palate, aromatic without being overly perfumed. It speaks softly yet leaves a lasting impression. Whether sipped slowly in quiet reflection or enjoyed as part of a shared moment, Jin Hao Golden Tips is a tea that connects, calms, and satisfies.
Serving suggestion:
We recommend brewing black tea with water at around 95 degrees Celsius. Steep the tea for approximately 3 minutes, then taste to see if the strength suits your preference. If you desire a stronger brew, you may steep it for another minute or two. Use a teapot with an infuser for best results. If a teapot is not available, an infuser ball, infuser cup, or a fine mesh strainer will also work well. For each serving, use about 3 to 4 grams of loose leaf tea, or roughly one teaspoon. This tea may be steeped a second time; simply extend the brewing time to draw out the remaining flavour.
