Security
This stove complies with the EN521 standard.
It must be used exclusively with butane-propane mixture cartridges that comply with the EN417 standard.

The Décathlon Forclaz cartridges (100g, 230g, 450g) comply with the EN417 standard and are compatible with the MT100, MT500 and MT500 Déporté Décathlon - Forclaz stoves.

Read the instructions and precautions for use in the instructions included with the stove.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge:
When installing a gas cartridge, always operate in a ventilated area, preferably outdoors and never in the presence of a flame, heat source, spark, people or flammable materials.
Check that the gas inlet of your stove is properly closed, as well as the presence and good condition of the seal.

Make sure that the cartridge is on a stable horizontal surface. Do not shake it.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge (continued):
Hold the appliance and screw the cartridge in by hand, turning it clockwise until it stops, taking care not to damage the thread.
Follow the same instructions for dismantling the cartridge.

It may be dangerous to use cartridges other than those of the Decathlon - Forclaz brand.

It is normal for a small "pchit" (gas escaping) of less than 2 seconds to occur when connecting the cartridge to the stove.

Weight and dimensions
Stove weight: 85 g
Cover weight: 15 g
Dimensions: Ø 14 x h 9.5 cm
Folded dimensions: l 9.5 x h 9.5 cm

Weights, volumes & dimensions may vary slightly due to production tolerances.

Ease of use
Pot support on 3 feet, perfectly adapted to the Forclaz Trek 500 stainless steel cookware (Ø 13.5 cm).
Installation:
Place the stove on the cartridge to align the screw threads. Screw. Install the assembly on a flat and clear surface. Open the flow control tap, activate the piezo (several times if necessary). Your stove is lit.
We advise you to light your stove with a pot in place above the burner.
Pay attention to the stability of the assembly.

Heating time
Our internal tests give us values that reflect more the real conditions of use. In fact, we tested our stoves with the Trek 500 Inox cookware, filled with one liter of water.
Actual power result: heating time to boil 1 liter of water: 3 min 04. Actual power: 2750 watts. Actual consumption: 200g/h.

The results and performances of different stoves must be analyzed in a comparable way (same conditions and parameters).

Heating time (continued)
The heating time of a stove is subject to a mandatory normative process for EU certification but which does not necessarily reflect the real conditions of use.
EN521 standard parameters (heat output):
Propane gas at 3 bar pressure, without container.
Results: 4.1kW / 292.5g/h

Performance and consumption
Many parameters influence the capacities and performances of your stove: atmospheric pressure, wind and humidity, ... and can therefore vary the boiling temperature, the heating time as well as the number of liters heated per cartridge.
We strongly advise you to use a wind shield in order to optimize your gas consumption.
The performances of a stove are therefore assessed according to the ratio of gas consumed / heating speed.
